HomeSpunMoney.com, consignee, accepts the goods listed on this contract to place for sale on eBay to the highest bidder under the terms and conditions listed below.

 

Consignor warrants that he or she is the legal sole owner of the property to be sold. (If property is jointly owned with another person, both persons will have to sign.) Consignor will provide a short written description of each item that they warrant as true and correct as far as he or she knows.

 

Consignee agrees to be responsible for the loss or damage and safekeeping of the items and will ensure they are packed and shipped properly to the eventual buyer. Consignee agrees that if any item is lost, stolen, or damaged while in consignee’s care that the consignor will be reimbursed for the average eBay selling price of the item.

 

Consignee will retain possession of the merchandise until the goods are sold and delivered to the final purchaser or returned to the consignor. Consignor agrees to leave the items with consignee for a period of at least 20 days during which time they will be listed on eBay for a seven day period.

 

Once an item is listed on eBay it will run the full listing course (7 days) until it is sold to the highest bidder. If consignor demands to withdraw the item prior to the end of the listing, or the 20-day period, he will pay a withdrawal fee of $25 per item. Consignor may not withdraw an item after it is sold, or within the last 24 hours of the listing under any circumstances.

 

Should the winning bidder fail to pay for the listing after 10 days, the property will be offered to the next highest bidder. If this bidder does not accept the item, item will be put up for sale again with the consignor’s concurrence.

 

If consignor’s property fails to sell within the 20 day period, consignor agrees to pick up the item within 15 business days or pay actual shipping and handling charges to have the item returned. Otherwise unsold items become the property of consignee.

 

Consignee will make payment of proceeds (less fees) to the consignor by the following terms: If items sell, consignee will mail payment to consignor to be postmarked within 48 hours from confirmation from buyer that item was received as described or within 10 days from the shipping date, whichever occurs first. Buyer’s payment may be held for up to 10 business days if buyer pays with a personal check or e-check from PayPal.

 

If buyer rejects an item of merchandise for any reason and returns item within 15 business days from the initial shipping date, payment will be refunded to the buyer.

 

Consignor realizes that “shill bidding” is not permitted. Consignor will not nor have another party bid on his or her item(s) in order to artificially raise the level of bidding or price of item. Consignor understands that this type of bidding is not only against eBay policy but is considered a felony.

 

Consignee agrees to perform the following for each item received:

 

· We will write a detailed description of your item and professionally design the advertisement using web-development software.
· We will research and list your item into the most beneficial eBay category.
· We will determine the best possible pricing strategy and advanced listing enhancements.
· We will take professional state of the art photographs using digital photos and software.
· We will answer all inquiries about your item.
· When the item sells we will bill and collect payment from the high bidder.
· We will provide the shipping supplies needed and professionally package and ship the item to the winning bidder.
· We will pay all eBay Listing Fees, eBay Final Value Fees and PayPal Fees.
